Hi all, My name is David Tsai, and I am a first year computer science student at the University of California in Berkeley. I am a beginner at Python and have very little project based programming experience, but I am interested in contributing to Scrapy. I plan on applying to GSoC to potentially work on a Scrapy project over the summer, and I would appreciate some feedback and pointers as to how I can get my feet wet with Scrapy work. If you have tips or suggestions for my application or what I could get started on as a Scrapy novice, I would love to hear them.
