Hello everyone! I'm an avid pythonista with keen interest in problem-solving & troubleshooting. I have been using Scrapy for a couple of months now & have grown to like it. I am working part-time for a start-up which needed news website data from all over the web, & that's how I was introduced to Scrapy. My work still involves a lot around it & as of now I am quite acquainted with Scrapy's various functionality. As part of my work with the start-up, I've already made a few extensions & several minor edits to the scrapy framework for our own project.
But, being a strong FOSS supporter, it's time I also should contribute towards Scrapy's development. I am a team-player & have previously contributed to the Tor project & even core Python & with the pretense of GSoC, I would like to join in on Scrapy's development.
