Actually it turned out that the problem was in the allowed domain so I was getting offsite/filtered requests. First of all it should not begin with "http://"; but I am not sure for what reason even when I run it in the real site and not the saved copy it got filtered out. I will try to play a bit with the real website and FormRequest.from_response() <http://doc.scrapy.org/en/latest/topics/request-response.html#scrapy.http.FormRequest.from_response> to fill in the search form for me
