Hi everyone ~ My name is Chienli Ma. I am a senior undergraduate from China. I am familiar with both Python and Ruby. And I am interested in contributing to Scrapy in the following GSOC.
Although I am new to Scrapy, I've written some multi-threaded web crawlers in Ruby using socket and Nokigiri. I wonder if this will help in the idea of support Scrapy in other languages, However, I am interested in the idea of signal dispatching and HTTP download handler. I've read other threads. It seems that at first I should pull some commits first.
