Hello everyone, I am Roque López, a master student in Computer Science at São Paulo University-Brazil. During the last years, I have worked on three projects in Peru and Brazil, in all of them I used Python. I have a good knowledge about crawlers, because I implemented a crawler for Facebook and Twitter using their APIs and worked with a crawler of newspapers developed with Beautiful Soup. Now, I have started using Scrapy and I would like to contribute for this edition of GSoC 2015.
Of the ideas listed on your github page, I am very interested in "Support for spiders in other languages". I think that developing this idea, many other no Python developers could be benefited of this framework. In the following days, I will be asking more about this idea in your IRC channel.
