Hi All - Derek and I talked a bit about this on another thread. I removed the source for the pulse plugin because it doesn't really get built as part of the packaging process (that would require us to have an environment setup in which we could build the squeak-vm). Since we just include the binary, I thought it would be best to remove it, because it shouldn't be included as part of the Ubuntu source package. But it's not easy to access that code from the svn now, so we'll probably add it back in. We can add an exception so it doesn't get built into the source package for Scratch - or else we can just remember to delete that folder before building an official package for the ppa or multiverse.
On another note, if anyone knows any Ubuntu MOTUs, it would be great if you could send them our way to take a look at the package on REVU -- Mako has been having a little trouble with the REVU setup, and hasn't been able to give it his support yet. http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/p/scratch -Amos On Tue, Feb 16, 2010 at 4:55 AM, Derek O'Connell <[email protected]>wrote: > Hi Amos, > > just curious about how things work re Assembla, it seems that it is > being used to stores files that eventual end up in a package and *only* > those files not *all* files associated with the project?
