OK. I see now. When I first scanned the webview of the darcs repo
I parsed the date of "5 months ago" first and assumed that it
had been in the repo for 5 months. Anyhow...
Thanks for clearing that up, as well as for upgrading bash.
I'm looking forward to scratchbox 1.0.17 when its released.

Hi,
As you can see from [1], the bash upgrade is not included yet in
1.0.16
(although the patch itself is quite old).
It will be in 1.0.17, the release packages are ready atm, just a bit
more testing before I'll release them...

I noticed the latest release of Scratchbox and checked the darcs
repository for details on the changes. There I saw that bash had been
upgraded from 2.0 to 3.0 -- excellent! (The change had been made
months ago I just noticed now).
So I downloaded 1.0.16, installed it and started a scratchbox shell.
But a "bash --version" says its "GNU bash, version 2.05b.0(1)"
instead of version 3.0.
A check of the source repository shows that the bash 3.0 sources
are patched and then built.
Both the scratchbox 1.0.16 binary debian and prebuilt tarball have
a /scratchbox/tools/bin/bash that reports version 2.05.
Any idea why I'm getting the old bash 2.05 version?
Did the build of scratchbox from scratchbox.org somehow not include
the latest bash?
Thanks for you help!
Robert.
