I'd like to create debian root filesystem images (sarge, etch) for ARM on a x86 host.
something like: # scratchbox # mkdir foo # fakeroot debootstrap --arch arm sarge foo http://ftp.debian.org/debian I tried, without success so far- could it be done with some minor tweaking, or am I just wasting my time? ps. Alternative approaches are welcome too!
