I 've setup a rootfs-i386-uclibc-0.9.29-gcc-3.4.6 image which could be run as
qemu -kernel linux \
-hda rootfs386-uclibc-0.9.29-gcc-3.4.6 -append "root=/dev/hda iint=/bin/sh"
http://people.vnoss.org/~wangji/rootfs386-uclibc-0.9.29-gcc-3.4.6.gz
