This is in the /scratchbox/login script, from which I get only:

       $ /scratchbox/login
       ERROR: Scratchbox is not properly set up!
       $

#
# do some basic checks to see if environment is ok
#
<snip>

Should it be checking for $SBOX_PATH/tools/bin and not
$SANDBOX/scratchbox/tools/bin?

Scratchbox uses bind mounts to mount directories like /scratchbox to
the user directories. You haven't started scratchbox properly,

/scratchbox/sbin/sbox_ctl start

should make it work.

Well, that worked. Thanks. I have to ask, thoug, where is this documented? I have tried to read as much of the doc as I can and I have not seen this command.

Well, the wiki only seems to talk about scratchbox2 and I am trying to use scratchbox. Maybe this is not a good idea. Is the available documentation for scratchbox2 more complete?
