I have the same problem when running Fedora 11. I have to use it to run some
older tests of our hardware. The kernel version is
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.29.4-167.fc11.i586 #1 SMP Wed May 27 17:14:37
EDT 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
No problem under Fedora 14. Screen version is the same in both cases: 4.00.03
(FAU) 23-Oct-06.
