Summary: ^C doesn't work on FreeBSD Project: GNU Screen Submitted by: elronnd Submitted on: Fri 23 Sep 2016 09:06:26 PM GMT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Details: I just installed the latest master on FreeBSD, for 24bit colour support, but nothing happens when I press ^C. When I do `sleep 5` and then ^C while still sleeping, "^C" gets printed on the screen, but it doesn't exit. When I open up vim and press ^C, I get a message "Type :quit<Enter> to exit Vim" which is what I normally get. When I type ^C while in a prompt, literally nothing happens. When I start up bash (my normal shell is ZSH), I get an interesting message: bash: cannot set terminal process group (24672): Inappropriate ioctl for device bash: no job control in this shell _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49170> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
