Follow-up Comment #1, bug #52733 (project screen):
If you want branch from which releases are done, please use screen-v4.
Master contains development for v5 and some changes which can go with mayor
version upgrade:
./configure --with-system_screenrc=/etc/screenrc (to change it at compile
time)
and you can set $SYSTEM_SCREENRC to something else
and as always screen suppports -c /path/to/file for choosing config file
And yes documentation on master will need to be updated.
