Summary: command line option to perform a configuration file command Project: GNU Screen Submitted by: None Submitted on: Thu 09 Jan 2020 11:06:21 PM UTC Category: Feature Request Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Details: For example I'd like to have 'logfile flush 0' without needing to depend on any screenrc file. It's often nice for programmatic use from make/scripts to disable rc files and pass everything explicitly. The -X option doesn't work for me, says No screen session found. I didn't find a way to create a background screen session, background it, then send a command to it (and that seems like a pretty roundabout way to get the desired effect). _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57572> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
