[screen-devel] Porting to z/OS: Prompt indented after pressing enter

Hi,

I’m trying to port GNU Screen to z/OS. One major issue I’m seeing is that the 
prompt keeps getting indented to the right after I press enter.

[\u@\h \w]$
            [\u@\h \w]$
                        [\u@\h \w]$
                                    [\u@\h \w]$
                                                [\u@\h \w]$
                                                            [\u@\h \w]$
                                                                        [\u@\h 
\w]$

Any ideas on what’s wrong here or clues on what part of the code to look for? I 
don’t see this behaviour outside of screen on z/OS.
