I'm having some trouble running screen (this used to work before, not sure
what's changed on my system to make it not work anymore):

[11:06am @ sj241w101] ~ > screen -v
Screen version 4.00.02 (FAU) 5-Dec-03
[11:06am @ sj241w101] ~ > screen
/tmp/uscreens/S-mattb/2078.pts-3.sj241w101: No such file or directory
[11:06am @ sj241w101] ~ > ls -l /tmp/uscreens/S-mattb/
total 0
[11:06am @ sj241w101] ~ > touch /tmp/uscreens/S-mattb/foo
[11:06am @ sj241w101] ~ > ls -l /tmp/uscreens/S-mattb/
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 mattb svdc 0 May 23 11:06 foo

So, this directory exists and I can write into it...

[11:07am @ sj241w101] ~ > mount | grep tmp
/tmp on swap read/write/setuid/dev=2 on Sun May 21 17:02:22 2006
[11:07am @ sj241w101] ~ > cd /tmp
[11:07am @ sj241w101] /tmp > df -h .
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
swap 47G 152k 47G 0% /tmp

And there's plenty of space on this partition. So I think I've exhausted the
obvious...

thx

m
