Of these: 1 shows a 0 in the top left corner, 2 show a [ in the top left corner, and 1 did not come up at all. Running screen -ls tells me: There are screens on: 1750.mandar (05/15/11 19:06:25) (Dead ???) 1748.3.1 (05/15/11 19:06:25) (Dead ???) 1749.2.1 (05/15/11 19:06:25) (Dead ???) Remove dead screens with 'screen -wipe'. 3 Sockets in /var/run/screen/S-mandar. Does this give you any hint as to what might be wrong? Should I just give the git version a try? Also, this usually happens when I start an X session for the first time after a reboot. If I end this X session, and login in (via gdm) again, I'm sure this will not happen. Thanks, Mandar. _______________________________________________ screen-users mailing list screen-users@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/screen-users
