You'll need to use high density ink to get the tape effect. Some people will 
actually put gel over top as well...depends on the effect you're looking for. 
I've seen some really great stuff done like this at the ISS shows in the awards 
gallery....can't tell you technically how to do it, but density is the way to 
go.

Hi all,

I have a customer that wants a design with "athletic tape" in the design.
The "tape" will run diagonal across the front of the shirt with team name in
it.  The shirts will be white.  Any ideas as to how to make it look like
"tape" on the shirts? The shirts will be screen printed.  

I didn't even know what athletic tape was until last week (customer brought
me a piece) so any help would be appreciated.
