Most halftone spot jobs I do, like you describe, I would use tight 230 mesh screens with a LPI of 45 angle of 61 and an elipse for the halftone dot.

I use a 55 lpi and 25 degree angle on most spot color halftone jobs, but to me, the dots seem too big. I have a 3 color gradient on text that will go from neon green, to neon yellow, to neon orange. What line counts and angles should I use to get a very smooth transition from one color to the next without getting a moire' pattern? Thanks, Bill ___________________________________ Bill Wolfe Yoteez Screenprinting 141 CR 420 Calhoun City, MS 38916 662-983-8071 business 662-796-3781 fax 662-628-8767 home _______________________________________________ Screenprinters mailing list [email protected] http://mailinglist.screenprinters.net/mailman/listinfo/screenprinters _______________________________________________ Screenprinters mailing list [email protected] http://mailinglist.screenprinters.net/mailman/listinfo/screenprinters
