Scott,

The teflon coating is the culprit....it can be more troublesome than 100% nylon
sometimes. You can try using alcohol but that may
not work.....it's not the same as waterproof material where alcohol will do the
trick. We've found that you either need to go with a
direct print or embroidery on teflon coated items, not transfers. If you use
Stahls' or cut your own transfers using their
materials, try Gorilla Grip. It is designed for smooth nylon fabrics, but it
may be the only transfer that will adhere to your
material.

Hope this helps,

David

Subject: [SE-List] EMERGENCY HELP

I'm putting names on 100% cotton red aprons (Port Authority A500 with Teflon
finish)

I made cold peel transfers with White Buffalo Ink and transfer adhesive powder.
It will not stick to the apron...

They will adhere to a 100% cotton t-shirt... is it the Teflon? What do I do?
Should I wipe the aprons with alcohol prior? I can't leave tonight until this
job is done. I wanna go home.

Please and Thank you!
