I've been out of the business for a year, but had to comment on this issue.
I tried Rutland when I first started . Didn't care for their customer service/support which was a direct reflection on the distributors they had. Didn't know enough to like/dis-like their ink. Union distributors (Tubelite) on the other hand were always there to help a novice get on the right track. I used Union for my entire business career (20 yrs) and loved their ink. I occasionally used other brands, usually with great dis-satisfaction. Sorry to see them go. It's like hearing of the death of an old friend.
