Confession:
My wife and I went to the SGIA show in New Orleans in 2000. We
had planned to go back again in 2005, but we all know that story.
We also had Las Vegas booked for 2006, but we got too busy and had
to switch to the ASI show in Orlando in January. That was a fun
time.
Anywho...
The SGIA shows are very big. I was surprised at how much digital
printing was the focus in 2000. Now I would not be so surprised.
Like any show, you should make a list of who you want to see there
and what you ask or look at or just talk about. We made the
mistake of walking the entire floor the first day and we were
hurting for the next few days. Pace yourself.
US Screen had a great party at a place across the river from the
Convention Center. The building it was in is used to store the
floats and stuff for the parade. There was lots of food and
drink and everyone had a great time. We won a door prize of a
cap press, so that was cool.
Have fun and learn.

Ok Everyone,

I guess no body else has gone to an SGIA show either. If nothing
else you have made me, not feel so bad about never going to one
myself !!

Love Tammy
