We do it by printing waterbase then plastisol for the area in the design that
uses foil. Don't know how else you'd do it

Subject: [SE-List] Foil accents on plastisol prints

Hi everyone!

Now that the list is back on, here's a question for those who can answer...

Is there a way (foolproof?), to use foil on a part of a multicolor print?

As it is, we do use foil, but so far it was just the logo in foil,
nothing else (ie. monochromic stuff)

We usually print the logo using the adhesive, then heat press the foil.
We've also printed plastisol (Union Inks black shimmer), then heat
presses the foil with great success.

So here again, I'm curious to how one would use foil as an accent in the
logo successfully...

Thanks!

Sylvie
