Further to mine of earlier today:
While we are talking basics, make sure your case is an AMD approved
version. That ensures that the motherboard's screw holes are not going to
be out of whack with the case plate. The 1 Gig Athlon recommends a 300
volt minimum power supply, and a full tower.
If you are going to buy on-line, you may want to check with
www.Egghead.com . They give free shipping with selected items. As for the
rest, I will share my experience with you when we hear from you again. As
I am sure we will once you start assembling the components.
