hi john jason, as far as i know, tables do work in 1.5.6svn BUT it's hard to achieve specific goals and i would not recommend their use.
alternatives are: - charts or infographics - tabs - importing tables from libreoffice personally, i have suggested to add them to a new section in the preferences with optional features: https://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=15987 if nobody steps up and does some non trivial amount of work on the table, i think that we will need to "hide" the feature by default in the upcoming 1.6. (existing tables would be rendered in the document but you'll need to activate the setting in the preferences to be able to create new ones or edit them). ciao a.l.e ___ Scribus Mailing List: [email protected] Edit your options or unsubscribe: http://lists.scribus.net/mailman/listinfo/scribus See also: http://wiki.scribus.net http://forums.scribus.net
