Thank you. F Y I, I used wingdings in Quark 4 but since Ihave given up on that platform I no longer know if it still works there. Video actually shows in scribus and it prints BUT does not export to pdf so that the Adobe Reader will extract it if embedded.
Also the peake fonts from hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/multimedia/fonts have a strange difficulty that pressing the space bar causes the cursor to GO BACKWARD. I delete that one. Shrewsbury (hobbes) had problems printing on my little Canon BJ-200 (what this guy uses a CANON ink-jet???); especially the condensed ran characters together. Was that because I had left VIDEO in as it seemed to be working. Did it confuse the subsequent font? now, FEATURE REQUEST, I ask for something like "reveal Codes" in Word Perfect so that you can see the SPACE and "show invisible" to see the hard returns. If one deletes text the code calling the font remains does it not? And export pdf will then try it. More, if you delete the text and re start Scribus it tries to SUBSTITUTE a new font for the old it thinks is still being used. Ho, Ho! I ran into this before I think.
