It occurs to me that a lot of software communities have their own IRC channel. Would there be any interest in having one for Scribus? I know I haunt my web hosts' channel as well as my distro's whenever I'm online at home. I'd really like to be able to talk to people directly about the software I use most (excpet Konqueror), which is Scribus.
