As Peter said, you need the cups-dev package. This is in fact the only cups package provided by fink, because the cups system itself comes already with Mac OSX. Apple has been using cups as their printing system since OSX 10.2. They just don't include the header files, hence the need for fink's cups-dev package. But you said you had it installed before you compiled scribus-1.1.0 (and maybe I should make this a requirement for the fink scribus package). In this case it should have found the cups headers and libraries automatically. It did for me, at least. If you rebuild scribus, you can look at the messages from the configure stage, and you should see things like checking for httpConnect in -lcups... yes checking cups/cups.h usability... yes checking cups/cups.h presence... yes checking for cups/cups.h... yes If you get "no" here, there is something else wrong (or cups-dev isn't installed correctly). I can see the landscape orientation offered in the options window of the printing dialog. -- Martin
