Hi, I'm using scribus and think it's a "killer app" :)
However, it segfaults on me way too often on the most innocuous actions to make the whole experience enjoyable. For instance, it often dies when I insert a new picture frame, copy/paste a test frame, resize a text frame and such. How can I help debug it? Is there a program I could run that could have scribus as its child process, so it could monitor all its system calls, etc. to help narrow down the problem when scribus segfaults? I'd be happy to use it and then send in bug reports based on its data. By the way, I'm using a prebuilt package from the Debian GNU/Linux Unstable distribution. Version 1.0.1 Build-ID: 06. August 2003 F-C-*-T Kind regards, Alex.
