Hi! I am sorry: I forgot to have a look in the config.log file. There it said on the next or overnext line after testing httpConnect in -lcups, that -lssl is missing.
I had just to install the openssl-devel package (my version is 0.9.7b) and now it compiles fine. Thanks for the help. Markus
