Hi All After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, Malex and I (mainly Malex!) have come up with a solution for those who know their plugins have built correctly but are not appearing in their menus, eg Extras->Print Preview.
Check your permissions on your plugin files in their directory... ie, /usr/lib/scribus/plugins, or /usr/local/lib/scribus/plugins, or perhaps another depending on your distro. Please report back that this has fixed the issue, and how your Scribus is installed. You may find your method of installing Scribus needs to be done as root, or that your package (RPM, deb, etc) is not doing this correctly.
