I am new, so forgive me if already posted. On Scribus 1.0.1, with Mandrake 9.2, some menu did not open. example : I clicked on "Edit", "Preferences", "General" and nothing appeared. So I changed the folder /usr/local/lib/scribus/libs from drwxr-x--- to drwxr-xr-x. Now it's ok.
