I'm probably not the only one getting the list who has never used CVS before, and it's obvious that the instructions at the Scribus website are insufficient for previous nonusers of CVS.
When I attempt to login to :pserver:anoncvs at ahnews.music.ac.uk:/usr/local/cvsroot then press return, I get the message "unknown host ahnews.music.ac.uk" which presumably means I haven't set a permissions file somewhere. Ah, but where? Gregory Pittman
