did you get scribus to embedd the fonts in the PDF file ? - when you use file/export/pdf a window of options appears, choose the 'font' tab and make sure that 'embed all fonts' is checked. this worked for me in a recent document where i'd downloaded the gothic news fonts especially for the piece of work. good luck ruth > > I'm totally new to Scribus and DTP in general, so sorry for the newbie > question. > > I'm using scribus_1.2.0.cvs20040526 from Debian Unstable.
