There are also Distance of Text settings on the shapes tab of the Properties Palette. Use Alt+# to insert them into a normal text frame on a template page and then apply the template to your pages. If your keyboard setup wont allow Alt+# to insert the character in the text frame, you may need to redefine the shortcut under Preferences, General tab, Keyboard Shortcuts. > - Template Pages just appear as background.
