I heard so many nice things about scribus and kde 3.2 with, of course,
qt3-3.3.1 that, having already upgraded to kde 3.1.4, I thought I should go to
kde 3.2. I just did qt3-3.3.1

So I downloaded the "kde BASE" packages (20 + 13 etc MB) using my little dial
up connection. Now I am told
kdebase3-SUSE <= 9.0 incompatible with
kdelibs3-3.2.1-10

but, but, but THAT package of all things is the only one I do not see anywhere.
It is hiding?

Last time I upgraded gnome it choked on gconf2 and I lost for a time my
graphics (used fvwm2 to rescue it!).

It's OT; but you folks recommended kde3.2 as working well with scribus... and
SuSE / Novell 9.1 is about to emerge. I do not want to get it really but simply
to upgrade piecemeal.
