[Scribus] problem compiling: ld -lmng

hello

i've got a problem compiling 1.1.6 cvs... 
in the second stage of make, it crashes with:
        /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmng
and in the message before that, the option after -lmng is 
        -lmng /usr/lib/libjpeg.so
which is present on the system (redhat 9.0), and worked for 1.4 
sources...
in the meantime I only upgraded qt to qt-3.2
