A postScript document has as origin the lower left corner. If the paper size on scribus is set to 12 x 12 inch and the driver (cups) don't know about this size the results may not be as expected. The only way is to select a paper size with a wide >= 12 inch, a lenght >= 12 inch and to place the "real" sheet at the top left corner of the sheet within scribus. Note that print system or printer may be confused from a too short paper sheet installed into the printer. Jean-Jacques
