I've just been playing around with Inkscape 0.39, and I note that when I import an Inkscape-created SVG into Scribus, calligraphic lines are not displayed properly -- there are defects in the lines wherever there is a sharp bend or overlap.
This isn't the case with importing into Gimp. Just to make sure it's still current, I just downloaded the latest CVS (18 November 2004), and the problem is still there. Greg
