FYI as of today October 27, 2004 at 2 PM Pacific USA time my compile on SuSE 9.0 gcc 3.3.1 goes to completion and shows scribus 1.2.1cvs C-*-T 26 October 2004
It did ./configure AUTOMAGICALLY which was appreciated since I just did "make" bart at solozone.com
