Hi Asif First, please don't use a subject in all caps, or one that's uninformative. People are likely to just skip it. A subject such as "Can't get colour management working" would be much better. Subjects like "URGENT" and "HELP!!!!!!!!!!" have have an additional problem, because many people will not be inclined to view your request as urgent even though, to you, it is. You will get much better results if you just use a descriptive subject.
Now, on to the question. The profiles must be unpacked and copied into the profiles directory - Scribus can't just read the zip file from Adobe. There are many other sources of profiles too, and we can't guess all possible structures and arrangements. That means the .icc files must be straight in the profiles directory, eg: craig at bucket-gui:~$ ls .scribus/profiles AdobeRGB1998.icc EuroscaleUncoated.icc USSheetfedCoated.icc AppleRGB.icc JapanColor2001Coated.icc USSheetfedUncoated.icc ColorMatchRGB.icc JapanColor2001Uncoated.icc USWebCoatedSWOP.icc EuroscaleCoated.icc JapanWebCoated.icc USWebUncoated.icc Scribus also works quite fine without colour management. If you don't know you need it, the chances are you won't miss it, and if used incorrectly it can produce confusing results. -- Craig Ringer
