Need some advice. Right now, I'm receiving article contrbutions from people using Lyx/OOo/Txt/html etc and I need to use this to import into Scribus Finally. The way I've been doing it is to just do copy pastes into txt files (for those which cannot be imported directly).
No issues in that, the problem which I have is large formatting and diffing. I'm sure you guys know the *nix 'diff' util right? Well, I would like to use that util to show the corrected portions. 1. Receive TXT 2. parse through fmt to make 1 long lines wrapped into multiple lines. 3. Alter as needed. 4. Diff with Org 5. Send for Mark-up/comments 6. Integrate things together. 7. Manually (yeah.. I hate this part) go to end of each line and press "delete" to get the txt back to 1 long line/paragraph. 8. Import into Scribus 9. Wee.. Another edition of MyOSS mag Is there a simpler way to do this?? Thank -- Ow Mun Heng Gentoo/Linux on DELL D600 1.4Ghz 1.5GB RAM 98% Microsoft(tm) Free!!
