How does it look if you print to a PostScript file, then preview the PostScript with GSView (using GhostScript 8.x - and note that GSView is not the same as gv or GhostView) ? Also, for your Minolta, have you tried printing at PostScript level 2 or level 1? Again, you'll want GhostScript 8.x installed. -- Craig Ringer
