The Scribus file format has a lot going for it, so even those who are focused on Scribus development have a fairly distinct roadmap, there is certain to be some surprising and unanticipated ways that someone might want to incorporate Scribus. Perhaps conversion to html (aside from their wide use, PDFs on the web are a source of annoyance because of their size), perhaps generating a newletter in a "mass customization" way, in which a newsletter created in Scribus can be generated in multiple languages with each having its own set of images. Doable within Scribus, but what if you could do one version, then make a utility to make all the others in about 15 seconds (and a task that could be done on a PDA that doesn't even have Scribus), then batch Scribus to generate the PDFs?
