[Scribus] Template page numbers not showing up in pdf

Is there any reasons my template page numbers would not show up in the 
generated pdf?  Not sure if it matters, but I did manually change 
FIRSTNUM to 0 in the sla file.

I'm running 1.2.1 compiled from source on SuSE 9.2 Pro.
