Meanwhile you can get Scribus for OSX/Intel from Fink, of course: 1.2.5 and 1.3.3.2 with X11 graphics, and 1.3.3.2 with aqua graphics. The older versions 1.2.3 and 1.3.3.1 are distributed as binaries (X11 only), the others build from source. -- Martin
