Hi, I tried to access some glyphs in a font that were in a private area, but couldn't. I could access them in FontForge but not in Scribus (both in Linux and Windows) glyph pallet. I was able to access them in InDesign- >Type->Glyph pallet.
The reason why I wanted to do that was to write a Python script that can do glyph substitution required for the Tamil language in that particular font. I know that the font has an in-built mechanism to do that... but I don't know enough about scribus-code or QT3 to do that. I there a way to access Private Area characters in Scribus? Suki
