[Scribus] Baseline - Beardline?

Text in Scribus is attached to the baseline by applying the option in the 
paragraph style and then applying the style to the text that is wanted to sit 
on the baseline. Do you actually have a paragraph style set up this way and 
applied to your text (it sounds like you don't)?
