I'm no expert, but it seems to me that we're talking about two (three, really) functions that the novice user would lump together, but experts need to distinguish: Word processing: OpenOffice.org Document processing: [La|Xe]Tex/Lyx Publication processing/layout: Scribus Steve -- Nothing about us Without us Is for us.
