There is one other possibility if you insist on staying with Fink's stable tree (except for scribus): d. Copy the 3 files qt3mac.info, qt3mac.patch and scribus-aqua.info from the unstable tree, that is, from the directories /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/graphics/ and /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/text/ to the directory /sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo/ (Make sure the latter directory exists and you have write access) Then just run "fink install scribus-aqua". This method will not perturb your other Fink packages, because neither qt3mac nor scribus-aqua exist in the stable tree. You will get some packages with older versions than if you chose the unstable tree, for example ghostscript-8.51 instead of 8.54, but otherwise this seems to work. -- Martin -- Martin
